The largest cold waterlake in the state. This lake is famous for its large brook trout with the state record (4 lbs. 15 oz.) caught in October of 1995. The lake also contains rainbow, Apache Trout and graylings. Most fish grow an inch a month because of the fertile nature of this lake. This lake is excellent in the late summer for fat rainbows if you own a boat. Brook trout numbers have gone down because of the drought, but should bounce back with more water. Camping, RV park, store and boat rentals available.
