Rivers & Streams
These steams do not get heavy camping use so they are stocked twice a month with 8 inch and 12 inch Apache trout during the summer.

- North Fork of the White River below the Alchesay Fish Hatchery
- Diamond Creek
- East Fork of the White River
These Streams have heavy camping use and get weekly stockings of 8 inch and 12 inch Apache trout during the summer. Fishing is best in late summer or whenever water levels are low. Fish further from the campsites to catch wild brown, rainbow and Apache trout. Apache trout are wary fish so most of the stocked trout are not caught. Fishing stays good in streams until October if you figure out the right technique. Apache trout prefer food drifting naturally in the current. Worms and flies drifted in the current and spinners retrieved across the stream are effective. Apache trout will not bite on bait that just sets on the bottom of the stream.

- North Fork of the White River at Lower Log
