TROPHY ELK HUNT - CANCELLATION POLICY


 

1.                 Confirmed clients must submit WRITTEN notification to the Wildlife & Outdoor Recreation Division to cancel confirmed hunt reservations. Any other type of notification will not be valid nor will be accepted.

2.                 Written notifications/cancellations made prior to, or by the close of business forty-five (45) days in advance of the first day of the confirmed hunt booking shall receive a 100% refund of hunt fees.

3.                 Written notifications/cancellations made prior to, or by the close of business between forty-four (44) and thirty (30) days in advance of the first day of the confirmed hunt booking shall receive a 80% refund of hunt fees.

4.                 Clients who submit written notifications/cancellations within twenty-nine (29) days of the first day of the confirmed hunt shall receive no refund unless a replacement client is found for the vacancy, in which case, a 75% refund will be issued to the canceling client.

5.                 Clients who cancel their hunt automatically forfeit their return status/privileges for the subsequent year.  The only exception to this policy is when such clients exercise a valid temporary transfer of their existing slots.

6.                 Clients who are unable to participate in the hunt due to emergency reasons will subject their reservation to be considered as a cancellation.  In such cases, a replacement client may be booked at the discretion of the W⩝ unless the canceling client provides an interim replacement to transfer into the vacancy. You may transfer your hunt to a replacement hunter 2 times.
