SMALL GAME PERMITS REQUIRED FOR ALL SPECIES

ANNUAL PERMIT   $50.00 (CALENDAR YEAR)

DAILY PERMIT     $10.00

 

COTTONTAIL RABBIT

SEASON DATES: October 22, 2011 through January 15, 2012
BAG LIMIT: Ten (10) per day
POSSESSION LIMIT: Twice Daily bag limit after opening day, of which no more than ten (10) may be taken in one day
NUMBER OF PERMITS: Unlimited
LEGAL TAKING DEVICE: Any legal weapons described in section R1.C

Section R1.C

SMALL GAME (EXCEPT MIGRATORY BIRDS AND QUAIL) may be legally taken with the following weapons:

i.        Any firearm and/or bow and arrow not prohibited in section R2.B.
UNITS OPEN TO HUNTING: Units 7,9,10,11 & 12

TREE SQUIRREL

SEASON DATES: October 22 through November 20, 2011.
BAG LIMIT: Ten (10) per day
POSSESSION LIMIT: Twice Daily bag limit after opening day, of which no more than ten (10) may be taken in one day
NUMBER OF PERMITS: Unlimited
LEGAL TAKING DEVICE: Any legal weapons described in section R1.C

Section R1.C

SMALL GAME (EXCEPT MIGRATORY BIRDS AND QUAIL) may be legally taken with the following weapons:

i.        Any firearm and/or bow and arrow not prohibited in section R2.B.
UNITS OPEN TO HUNTING: Reservation-Wide, except areas designated as CLOSED AREAS

QUAIL

SEASON DATES: October 15 through December 31, 2011.
BAG LIMIT: Seven (7) quail per day in the aggregate
POSSESSION LIMIT: Twice Daily bag limit after opening day, of which no more than seven (7) may be taken in one day
NUMBER OF PERMITS: Unlimited
LEGAL TAKING DEVICE: Any legal weapons described in section R1.D

Section R1.D

MIGRATORY BIRDS and UPLAND GAME BIRDS may be legally taken with the following weapons:

i.                   Shotguns NOT larger than 10 gauge shooting any non-lead shot for Migratory Waterfowl only. 

ii.                 Lead shot is allowed for Upland Game Birds; Quail, Doves and Pigeons only.

iii.      Bow and arrow not prohibited in section R2.B.
LEGAL QUAIL: Gambel's and Mearn's quail ONLY
UNITS OPEN TO HUNTING: Units 10 and 12 ONLY

SEASON DATES: Generally in September.  Specific, Federally approved season dates will be available in July 2011.
BAG LIMIT: Specific, Federally approved bag limits will be available in July 2011
POSSESSION LIMIT: Specific, Federally approved possession limits will be available in July 2011
NUMBER OF PERMITS: Unlimited
LEGAL TAKING DEVICE: Any legal weapon described in section R1.D

Section R1.D

MIGRATORY BIRDS and UPLAND GAME BIRDS may be legally taken with the following weapons:

i.                   Shotguns NOT larger than 10 gauge shooting any non-lead shot for Migratory Waterfowl only. 

ii.                  Lead shot is allowed for Upland Game Birds; Quail, Doves and Pigeons only.

iii.      Bow and arrow not prohibited in section R2.B.
UNITS OPEN TO HUNTING: Specific Hunt Units will be established upon receiving Federally approved regulations.  Available in July 2011.

SEASON DATES: Generally in September.  Specific, Federally approved season dates will be available in July 2011.
BAG LIMIT: Specific, Federally approved bag limits will be available in July 2011.
POSSESSION LIMIT: .Specific, Federally approved possession limits will be available in July 2011.
NUMBER OF PERMITS: Unlimited

SPECIAL REGULATIONS: I.   A Federal duck stamp, small game permit, waterfowl permit and the use of non-lead shot are required to hunt waterfowl on the reservation.
