DOVES and PIGEONS

SEASON DATES: Generally in September, Specific, Federally approved season dates will be available in August 2008.
BAG LIMIT: Specific, Federally approved bag limit will be available in August 2008
POSSESSION LIMIT: Specific, Federally approved possession limit will be available in August 2008
LEGAL TAKING DEVICE:

Section R1. D

MIGRATORY BIRDS and UPLAND GAME BIRDS may be taken only with the following weapons:

i.              Shotguns NOT larger than 10 gauge shooting shot.  Waterfowl hunting requires the use of shotguns NOT larger than 10 gauge shooting non-lead shot only.

ii.             Bow and arrow not prohibited in section R2.B. (below).
OPEN AREAS: Specific, Federally approved areas will be available in August 2008

WATERFOWL

SEASON DATES: Generally Mid-November, 2008 through January 2009.  Specific, Federally approved season dates will be available in August 2008
BAG LIMIT: Specific, Federally approved bag limit will be available in August 2008
POSSESSION LIMIT: Specific, Federally approved season limit will be available in August 2008

SPECIAL REGULATIONS: A federal Duck Stamp and the use of non-lead shot are required to hunt waterfowl on the reservation.  Please check with W&ORD office for additional waterfowl hunting information.
