KEY FISHING REGULATIONS
  1. It is unlawful to fish with more than one pole.
  2. It is unlawful for any person to leave a line or pole unattended while fishing.
  3. Live Bait may not be possessed nor used on any waters on the Reservation. Violators will be prosecuted and a reward of $100 will be paid by the Outdoor Recreation Department for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any person using live bait fish on waters on the Reservation.
  4. Chumming is prohibited. Chumming means the placing of any material upon which fish feed into the water for the purpose of attracting fish to a particular area in order that they may be taken.
  5. Waterdogs may only be used as bait to fish stock tanks on the Bonito Prairie and the Black and Salt Rivers.
  6. Digging for worms on the Reservation is unlawful and prohibited in all areas.
  7. It is unlawful to clean fish in any Reservation lake or stream.
  8. It is unlawful to fish from any Reservation boat dock.
  9. Ice fishing holes cannot exceed nine (9) inches in diameter.
  10. Any fish put on a stringer is yours to keep. They cannot be later released.
FISH GUIDING

Any person or entity charging a fee to clients to fish on the Reservation must be licensed with the White Mountain Apache Wildlife and Outdoor Recreation Division and possess a valid White Mountain Apache "Fish Guiding Permit". Licensed guides must provide a valid Reservation "Fish Client Permit" for all clients. The following five companies have fishing guide licenses
