White Mountain Apache Tribe Wildlife & Outdoor Recreation Division

Earl Park Lake

Currently, the lake is managed for trophy fishing (catch-and-release with flies only). This lake has all four species of trout: Apache, brook, brown and rainbow. Anglers have the most success catching the rainbow trout which average 16 to 18 inches. Fishing is excellent throughout the year even in July and August. The only access to this lake is at the southwest point so it is perfect for anglers who like to hike. It is also sheltered from the wind. Camping at nearby Hawley Lake only.

PERMITS: $10-daily -- $35-annual
